We just brought this stepback cupboard in today, its a nice one, has the old glass, and original hardware, I think the wood is a mix of poplar and walnut.

Herbs other farm table sold, he just got this one finished up.

Pretty day!

Today was one of those days you wait all winter for, it was just beautiful! Lots of motorcycles going up and down the highway, we had several stop on and off all afternoon.

Next week Dee and I will be in Pa, finding new things for the shop, we will be flying there on Saturday and coming back Wednesday, we are bound to get into some kind of trouble, we usually do, kinda like Laverne and Shirley! LOL! I will take my camera.

Pine Cupboard!

Picked up this nice old pine cupboard today, the shelves are curved at the front, its such a pretty pine color....oh me and my cupboards......I just love them!

Candle Snuffer Style Candleholder

Found these long candleholders that look like a snuffer, look good hanging on a cupboard door or on the side of a cupboard like here.

Been asking Herb to make a few freestanding tobacco stick ladders for some time now, and yesterday, he finally heard me. I love those towels on it, they are handwoven in Kentucky and if you have never had one, treat yourself, seems they get better everytime you wash them.

We've been out of big wooden ladders, well we just got in 5 nice big ones! If you have been looking for one, we now have them.

I love this lantern with one of the battery tapers in it.

I like this one too, but I think I could have put a shorter taper in it, maybe?

Herbs Cupboard!

We have had this cupboard top for quite awhile, its an old one, but we couldn't find a bottom, so Herb decided to make one. We seem to find tops, but never bottoms, so this is called a married piece. I think it turned out really well, don't you?

Sale Continues Through Tomorrow.....

Most of the Christmas is 1/2 price of the original price, alot went out today, it continues tomorrow, from 1-5, does not include consignment items.

We Missed our White Christmas!

By one day, it came a day late. I know most of you, the last thing you want to see is snow, but this is different, this is NC snow!

Just Two Weeks Left!

Friday Frenzy has passed, we had a really nice day, and a fun day too, got to visit with our good friends Yvette and Sharon from Raleigh, and lots of others. We had alot of silliness going on and one man asked us where our wine cellar was? The winners of the 25.00 gift certificates were Sue George, Fayetteville, and Evette Clements, Raleigh.
Now we only have two weeks left, I know alot of you are ready, but this ol gal sure isn't! Need to kick into gear!

Shop Pics

This is a farm table Herb just finished, it has huge chunky legs.

I love this cupboard, we just picked it up last week, its a nice old pine one, makes a great display piece with the glass in the top half.

I love the simplicity of this piece, its not huge, but is it ever heavy!

We just got this table top desk in, it has really nice dovetailing in the corners.
