We got some really neat wine glasses in that are all bubbly since they are handblown, they have a great early look.
I thought this was neat, Dee took a wooden mallet and put cookie cutters on it, pretty cool, don't ya think?

This table has a really neat reproduction wedding ring hogscraper candlestick, a nice big crow, some neat artificial bittersweet, speaks fall, huh?

We don't put out fall, usually until August 1, but I keep sneaking out bits and pieces.....why? Cuz it makes me happy, I love fall. I have a hard time buying for spring and summer, but I love to buy for Fall. Heres a couple pieces I sneaked out this morning.....shh....don't tell, ok?

We have been working, getting things ready, today I went and picked up some great birdhouses. And guess what else? The books from Judy came today! WooHoo! I haven't got to really look at it, but it gives my heart such joy to see books with things we love, firkins, pantry boxes, baskets, crocks, old cupboards, pie safes, treenware, pewter, as they say"Be still my heart".
Here is Big Boy, the big corner cupboard all decked out. Dee decorated it in alot of horsey type things, I think it looks great, wish I had a place for it at home. I LOVE cupboards!!!
Something about an old shipping box with good graphics, I just love them! I love these new sprigs we just got in too, the doll seems to be hiding behind them, doesn't she?
We just got this corner cupboard in this week, its a big one, really a great display, and no doors to get in the way, which is nice sometimes if your space is limited, its a big piece but tucking it in a corner, it doesn't take up tons of room. Herb needs to tighten it up some, it had been in a building since 1983, and it is a NC piece from Harnett County. Should have seen us getting that Big Boy out of that building, in these hot temps!!! Whew!
These two coverlets are the Angstadt Star pattern, in brown, and they are double size.
We are open tomorrow, Saturday June 19. 10-5, and we will be closed on Fathers Day, then reopen on Monday, 10-5.
We just got these Betsy Ross garden flags in, at the suggestion of a very good friend. They really look great, don't they? This is a new flower bed we just put it, and right now its kinda wimpy....
Its so funny, about 3 years ago, I planted some lavender, and I also planted some butterfly bushes, well the lavender is swarming with butterflys and there may be one now and then on the butterfly bushes, we usually have alot on our lantana too, but this year they are lovin' the lavender. I know many of you have already seen this, some have even taken pictures, but for those of you that haven't.....enjoy. You can click on the picture to see them better.
Nah, not the Rolling Stone, even better than that!!! Our friend Giles log cabin birdhouse is going to be on the cover of the Fall issue of Merchantile Gatherings fall issue. Looks like a great issue and its to be released around June 25, and its going to have 8 more pages than its had before. When they get to the shop, I will let ya know!
